Security Engineer / Arc Sight

Salary: Circa £500.00 Per Day

Details: Security Engineer / Analyst with Bit9, SIEM, or CyberArk, ArcSight, McAfee, Network and Application Security experience for this contract role based in the City of London with a financial institution.As the Security Engineer / Analyst you will support the production security operations team in providing day to day assurance that the company technical information security controls are operating as designed, assisting with the identification and analysis of security incidents. The role will also include provision of support to the Info Sec Programme Manager in managing and supporting security implementations of operational security technologies.You will:Develop and manage processes, procedures and technical documentation.Implement and manage security projects.Security monitoring and alerting from SIEM.Development of SIEM use cases, in particular focussing on threat detection based upon company business processes and technology landscape.Develop SIEM processes and documentation for in house security operations team.Ensure that security controls are operationally effective and that incidents and trends are reported, managed and escalated appropriately.You will have experience in:Detailed Bit-9 experience.Experience in SIEM technologies, such as CyberArk, ArcSight, McAfee, etc.Experienced in Network and Application Security technologies.Strong knowledge of security technologies and techniques across Windows, Unix/Linux, Citrix environments and networks.Specific expertise operating and developing of Advance malware technologies, Web Proxies, SIEM, Firewall, IDS, etc.You will be:Highly motivated and operationally focused, capable of managing and operating security technologies and processes in a demanding environment.Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.Take ownership of problems.
