Details: Security Engineer / Security Architect / Platform Engineer – Cyber Ark / Unix / Windows / Red Hat platform Canary Wharf, London £55,000 – 70,000 plus extensive bens My Client, a globally recognised Financial is looking for an extremely strong Security Engineer / Security Architect to join the team based in Canary Wharf. The Information Security Engineer / Security Architect will undertake global responsibilities, reporting directly to the CISO in New York. The key remit for the Security Engineer / Security Architect and subsequent department is to plan and implement crucial Information Security infrastructure projects and applications on Windows and Unix platforms. The Security Engineer / Security Architect will also provide subject matter expertise and consultancy advice to technology teams across the globe. Main Duties Plan, deliver and provide support for the Cyber-Ark Privileged Account Management Application. Deliver other major Information Security infrastructure projects to time and budget, on Windows server and Unix platforms. Maintain and operate existing security infrastructure and work with other security technology teams as required, to provide additional, application specific security solutions. The Person Candidates must have very good knowledge of deploying Cyber-Ark into an enterprise environment. Have experience with the on-boarding of privileged system accounts for platforms such as Windows, UNIX, Databases and Storage. Programming/scripting knowledge would be a distinct advantage. In depth knowledge of the Windows Server or Red Hat platform required (Windows Server preferred). Prior experience in an Information Security or Platform technology/engineering role essential. The successful Security Engineer / Security Architect will have a good knowledge of the Windows Server or Red Hat platform, be a competent scripter / programmer and have excellent Cyber Ark experience. A proven track record of delivering major projects is required. It is not essential that the successful candidate has an Information Security background, and applications from candidates with a Platform Engineering background (Windows Server or Red Hat) are also encouraged. Knowledge in the following technologies would be an advantage. Skybox; Varonis; Encase; Foundstone; Splunk. Knowledge of Cyber-Ark is a requirement.
