The Cyber Intelligence Analyst will serve as an expert resource in the collection, analysis and presentation of information which directly mitigates risks to the Company’s people, assets, operations and reputation. Key duties include: Deliver timely and actionable intelligence on Cyber threats and trends to inform the business leadership and functions regarding current and emerging threats to the global enterprise. Provide deep connectivity to Intelligence, Law Enforcement, Private Sector and Academic organizations to enhance the firm’s situation awareness and guide strategic and tactical response to Cyber threats. Produce intelligence and analytic products to effectively communicate digital security and risk issues with audiences to include Group Leadership, the Group Security network, business units, and employees worldwide. Develop authoritative sources of information to include contacts in business, academia, and government; relationship development is a key function. Develop and uses open source search tools, commercial subscription services, and third party intelligence sources (government, academia and commercial) to collect and manage relevant cyber intelligence. The Cyber Analyst will: Lead the Cyber Threat analytic capability Liaise closely with Digital Security and Group Security in order to link internal/external monitoring with response and action. Build an extended network of contacts and resources to include law enforcement and intelligence agencies, commercial providers, academia, and think tanks. Produce regular Cyber Intelligence Bulletins, information updates and analytic assessment and other intelligence products to inform variety of audiences. Deliver focused cyber threat intelligence pertinent to project specific needs and in readiness for key executive and Board level where necessary. Contribute to development of remediation and response plans. Provide support to cyber security education efforts. You will be expected to have: Wide knowledge of global/country politics and international affairs. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to extract and impart the most relevant information from large volumes of data. Ability to examine events and information for second and third order implications. Minimum qualifications include: Bachelor’s Degree or Higher (or equivalent international qualifications) 10 years of cumulative experience in a comparable position with a multi-national corporation and/or a government agency Superior writing and communication skills; ability to translate complex technical issues into clear and compelling language; ability to interface with both technology and senior management. Subject matter expertise on cyber issues, security strategies and associated technologies. Ability to analyse threats at the detailed and enterprise level, develop mitigation strategies, and clearly communicate issues through advisories and notification. Strong interpersonal and networking skills; can liaise with key stakeholders involved in strategic system and technology development and grow a network of external contacts, specifically those in cyber intelligence communities (FBI, DHS, NSA, GCHQ…) Appreciation of risk mitigation by both technical and non-technical measures; that is, an understanding of technical and human aspects of digital threats and security. Good general knowledge of information security technologies and their strengths and shortcomings.
