Details: Information Risk Manager/Consultant is required for this financial institution in the City of London. This position holder manages the planning, organizing and implementation of Information Risk Management strategic programs (highly visible initiatives crossing multiple disciplines, businesses, and/or organizations). Responsibilities include the coordinated management of multiple information risk projects, and in some cases, ongoing operations which are directed toward a common objective. They will work with constituent project managers and work stream managers to monitor cost, schedule, and technical performance of component projects and operations, while working to ensure the ultimate success of their programme. Must have superb stakeholder management skills, particularly to stakeholders external to the organization. A strong understanding of how to achieve success within a variety of organisational structures and reporting lines. Experience building business cases for risk-based projects in highly desirable. A strong understanding of residual risk and risk mitigation is essential. A strong bias toward quantitative risk data rather than subjective reporting is required. Prior experience managing IT Risk or Information Security strategic and/or cross-organizational projects and planning and tracking multiple complex projects and programs required.
