Details: Our client a major Media and communications company are looking for a Governance analyst for their Physical/ Corporate security team. The Physical risk Governance analyst will be a dynamic individual with expertise and knowledge of the management of a security system of a commercial company. • The Governance Analyst (Physical Risk) role’s main emphasis is placed around Physical & Environmental security risk, ensuring that the correct advice, guidance and governance is given to all areas of the Business to maintain a safe and secure environment for buildings, people, assets and information. • Maintain close contact with internal stakeholders in the delivery of advice/guidance for physical security solutions in support of BAU and Projects so that they meet compliance controls. • Be able to quality assure 3rd Party consultant documentation to the highest levels ensuring they meet Group Security standards• The Governance Analyst (Physical Risk) is responsible for delivering the day to day operational elements of Group Security (Physical Risk) function into the Business.• They will operate, develop and report on all Physical and environmental security elements of the Group Security Information Security Management System• Establish and maintain close working relationships between Group Security and other stakeholder teams within the Security Model in support of Group Security strategic objectives. • Create and maintain relevant databases to aid operational support to Head of Group Security and other internal stakeholders. • Support the Governance Manager (Physical Risk) in the development and implementation of the Physical & Environmental Security strategy.• Assist in the review and maintenance of specific Group Security Policies and Baseline Standards • Maintain an up to date appreciation of the Security "Threat Landscape" • Assist in the adoption of Group Security Policy across the organisation through a programme of Engagement, Training and Awareness.• Occasionally conduct ‘on site’ visits of Sites as part of post incident management or due diligence in quality of 3rd party install work • Support the COG’s (Compliance Operating Group’s) in the tracking and reporting of remediation activity specifically around physical security solutions. • Engage with the operational teams within the Security Delivery Model to ensure requirements for the submission of evidence are being delivered. • Ensure all significant security and environmental risks to assets are reported and represented at the appropriate level and forum.• Stand in for the Governance Manager (Physical Risk) when required• Networking with Security peers in both industry sector organisations and large technology organizations to share and understand best practice Personal Requirements• Experienced professional with significant experience gained across the Security sector ideally in a commercial environment. • Solid background knowledge of security systems and design implementation (CCTV, Intruder, Access, Fencing, Locks etc).• Good working knowledge of the implementation of ISO27001, PCI DSS, NGN224 and HMG Security Policy Framework controls• Ability to work independently, proactively maintaining your own schedules of work, planning and reporting • Experience of managing 3rd parties suppliers. • Ability to communicate successfully across a broad spectrum of seniority, geography and business role. • Sound understanding of Risk Management methodology and process inclusive of a natural ability to appreciate the Security "Threat landscape". • SC clearance or willingness to undertake is an advantage
