Details: Senior Security Architect – SDLC - Software Development - Java - Oracle- Application Security – Application Development – Enterprise Architecture - West London, UK – circa £90,000 + Bens + Bonus Our client a technology driven and led enterprise organisation are looking for a Senior Security Architect to sit within the architecture team. It is first and foremost a development role, application architecture and application development position. Description This Security Architect is responsible for the design, development and implementation of security technologies and ensuring alignment with the Company Technology Strategy. Key Responsibilities & Duties Work as part of teams building software & infrastructure providing security guidance Develops plans for security technologies that integrate effectively with other aspects of the technical infrastructure Work with application and product teams to encourage a security mindset throughout product development processes from concept to testing and implementation Evaluates and recommends new or enhanced technologies that could improve current systems Facilitate the development and communication of Group security standards for software & systems design, development and deployment Use and promote software, systems and operational security design methodologies Research and evaluate emerging technologies to detect, mitigate, triage, and remediate software security defects across the enterprise Experience & Qualifications Extensive software engineering experience required. Finance or e-commerce background preferred Technical experience with any of the following advantageous; SOA, EDA, Java SE/EE, Spring, web services, JMS, AJAX, .net, Oracle database, Oracle Coherence, IP networking, HA & DR Strong background in software development – capable of hands-on coding when required Must have experience as part of an enterprise architecture practice Computer Science degree or equivalent professional certification desirable Demonstrable impact on strategic development of technology in a medium or large sized company Experience of designing secure, large-scale, highly distributed event driven architectures Exposure to highly-transactional or very high throughput systems Exposure to an enterprise architecture framework an advantage (TOGAF, Zachman etc.)
