Details: Information Protection Specialist - Senior Consultant to Senior Manager (DLP, Data Loss Prevention, Endpoint security control, Encryption) Our client a top tier big 4 consultancy at the cutting edge of technology and global security projects are looking for two Information Protection professionals ranging from Senior Consultant to senior Manager. Our clients market leading Security and Resilience practice has a proven track record of working on complex and high profile issues and able to help clients improve the security, privacy and resilience of a single component or to develop comprehensive security, privacy and resilience programmes. To assist our clients in the defining and implementing their information protection strategy, often as part of an information security transformation/enhancement programme. The information protection area incorporates a variety of technologies, including data loss prevention (DLP), endpoint security control, data classification, data access governance, encryption, and information rights management (IRM) solutions. Specific responsibilities include: Defining an information protection strategy, including guiding principles and future state vision, ensuring that the strategic objectives are aligned with business goals Analysis of information protection technologies and business processes that clients already have in place and identifying potential deficiencies through manual and tool based assessments Defining key initiatives that will be incorporated in any strategic roadmap, including key drivers, benefits, objectives and deliverables, in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders Analysis and definition of functional and technical solution requirements working with security and technology senior users Designing various types of IT security solutions across a range of security domains including identity and access management, threat and vulnerability management, risk and compliance management and encryption key management Performing vendor assessments and technical proof of concepts to help our clients to select fit-for-purpose solution(s) Defining information protection solution target operating models including responsibility matrices, workflows, organisation charts and business processes To be considered, you must possess: Experience implementing complex information protection solutions in a medium to large environment, covering technical and operational activities across the whole project life cycle Experience with solutions and products in the following IT security areas: Endpoint security controls, including laptop, desktop and mobile device secure configurations Data loss prevention (DLP) including monitoring of data in motion, at rest and in use, as well as information rights management Data encryption (be it in hard drives, emails, databases and/or backups) and centralised encryption key management Strong academics, including a minimum of 2.1 degree or equivalent Understanding of information security principles and best practise (eg, ISO27001 and ISF Standards of Good Practice for Information Security) Information Protection Specialist - Senior Consultant to Senior Manager (DLP, Data Loss Prevention, Endpoint security control, Encryption) Information Protection Specialist - Senior Consultant to Senior Manager (DLP, Data Loss Prevention, Endpoint security control, Encryption)
