Details: DLP Security Consultant- Data Loss Prevention – Our client, our top tier financial services organisation is looking for a data loss prevention / DLP Security Consultant to join their security team. This is an operational security role based in Cheshire requiring the security consultant to manage risks and maintain a DLP security roadmap. The DLP Security consultant will be responsible for ensuring that any changes to service are formally risk assessed whilst continuingly improving DLP performance. The role will require root cause analysis on any incidents reported. Excellent understanding of security concepts and technologies in the areas of Data Loss Prevention (i.e. data leakage protection, information classification, enterprise rights management, security policy configuration and management) Solid experience designing and operating DLP controls, and utilizing data loss prevention products and processes. Excellent understanding of concepts and technologies including Cryptography Services and Mechanisms, Threat Analysis, Vulnerability Assessment, Security Monitoring, Compliance Auditing, and IDS. Deep understanding of change disciplines including change and release management and track record of delivering change projects in a timely manner with high quality Recognized as an expert in requirements for data loss monitoring operations. Expert in incident response procedures and standards, strong communication skills and ability to articulate complex events to management. Excellent understanding of wider security and control environment. Understanding of the legal and regulatory requirements around information protection, cryptography and data leakage Demonstrated capability to develop scripts and other functionality which enhance or extend security tools. Good understanding of operational IT security monitoring and administration tools. Understand major internal support functions and services. Awareness of the service delivery impacts on confidentially, integrity and availability. Knowledge of multiple information security domains Deep technical knowledge of security tools, especially their strengths and shortcomings. Monitors marketplace trends and experiences on security, audit and control issues. Ability to build trust and confidence in senior leadership. DLP Security Consultant- Data Loss Prevention –
