Details: A leading Financial seeks a Lead Security Engineer to join its North West offices. The role requires a strong and passionate security professional who is a champion of new and emerging technologies to include application security, Cryptography, mobile security and secure development. This is a highly technical Information Security Role working in a large complex environment, you will come from a similar role. Key responsibilities include: Develop and maintain detailed Security Designs , including reviewing and evaluating. Develop and maintain security tools but also test and pilot new emerging security tools and techniques. Perform Security Technology Evaluations , including due diligence on vendors and relationship management. Develop Security Technology Configuration , working closely with the security architect team. Perform good , relevant Security Research able to know and predict security trends and risks. Other Experience: Excellent practical and theoretical understanding of security strategies and technologies including secure global network design, server hardening, penetration testing.
