Details: Our client, a leading financial services organisation is looking for a Mobile Security Engineer (iOS, Android, Blackberry). The Key to the success of this role will be the individual’s ability to develop and review detailed technical designs. The Mobile Security Engineer should have a wide and deep knowledge of a large number of technologies and languages – mobile platforms, mobile applications, Objective C, C, C++, Java and ideally have strong technical expertise with payment card security. Key Accountabilities are: Develop and review detailed technical designs Undertake security evaluations for proposed technical designs Develop Security Technology Configurations and Security Guidelines Develop detailed technical configuration documents, working closing with Security Architecture and Standards groups. Skills Required :
- Excellent practical & theoretical understanding of security engineering and architecture in an enterprise environment
- Strong technical expertise in mobile platforms (iOS, Android, Blackberry).
- Strong technical expertise in mobile app security (e.g. native / HTML mobile apps running on above platforms)
- Strong technical expertise in server side application security (e.g. J2EE applications)
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems.
- Track record for offering innovative solutions to security design challenges
- Strong technical expertise with payment card security (e.g. EMV / NFC)
- Strong practical theoretical understanding of global network design, including wireless access & communication systems, and remote computing.
- Strong theoretical knowledge of cryptography and key management.
- Experience of Java and C application development with a detailed knowledge of how to mitigate common web applications issues within those languages.
